Taking Snapshots
The snapshot tool can be used to create an image of a part of the page currently displayed.
Taking a Snapshot
To take a snapshot, use the Snapshot tool under Tool Snapshot. Select a rectangular area on the current page.
Copying a Snapshot to the Clipboard
After taking a snapshot you will be asked where to save the image. Select Copy to clipboard to copy the image to the Windows clipboard and paste it back into PDF Annotator or any other application.
Saving a Snapshot to an Image File
After taking a snapshot you will be asked where to save the image. Select Save as image... to save the image to a file. Select the image file type from the list of possible formats on the Save as dialog.
Saving a Snapshot as a Stamp
After taking a snapshot you will be asked where to save the image. Select Save as stamp... to make the image available as a stamp on the toolbox.
Selecting a Snapshot Resolution
By default, snapshots will be created in a typical screen resolution of 72 dpi. Set the Resolution to a higher value if you need the snapshot in a higher resolution, exposing more details.
